HOWLING COYOTE PUB
THE
Our History
The Howling Coyote Pub proudly sits on the very spot where Oliver’s first legal beer parlour opened in 1935.
When the Reopel Hotel was built, it made local history by pouring the town’s very first post-prohibition beer — a moment that helped shape Oliver’s sense of community, celebration, and hospitality. From those early days of neighbours sharing stories over a pint, this place has always been a gathering spot for locals and travellers.
Today, both The Howling Coyote Pub and the King Hotel are proudly operated by the Singh family, who continue the tradition of warm hospitality, great food, and cold craft beer. Nearly a century later, we’re honoured to carry the history forward while creating new memories with every guest who walks through our doors.
Come be part of the story — where Oliver’s beer history lives on.
